Felicitare, a trawler styled pleasure vessel, was launched in
1990 to combine the best of traditional timber construction with
modern amenities and comforts. Heavily built in kauri and powered
by a lazy, slow revving Gardner engine, she moonlights as a towboat,
thoroughly proving herself in all conditions. With plenty of room,
amazing all around visibility and safe, wide decks for children,
she is an ideal family holiday vessel and her shady walk around
decks provide more than adequate space for fishing parties.
Owner skipper Alistair, with 28 years as an Auckland tugmaster,
also runs a huge barge that makes a novel party barge at the location
of your choice, and has a high speed roll on roll off landing
barge service as well.
